Food Donations

Food donations can be dropped off at 2000 DeKoven Avenue, Unit #2, in Racine from 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. It is best to call ahead at: 262-632-2307. In addition, the Food Bank also maintains collection barrels at all of the Pick 'n Save and Piggly Wiggly locations east of I-94.

The following list of food items is termed the "Super Six", as they are the most needed items and are also among the most nutritious. These items are needed by the Food Bank throughout the year.

  • Canned Fruit
  • Peanut Butter
  • Tuna Fish
  • Beef Stew
  • Canned Meat(s)
  • Canned Past With Meat

With the Holidays right around the corner, the Food Bank could also use items to help observe the season.

Items for Holiday Food Baskets
  • Canned Sweet Potatoes
  • Flavored Gelatin Mixes (Jello)
  • Ready-to-use canned Frosting
  • Microwave Popcorn
  • Shelf-stable Juice or Juice Concentrate
  • Canned Hams
